Pedro Estêvão was born in 1975 in Lisbon and has a degree in sociology and is currently developing his PhD in the same area. He also holds two post-graduate degrees in statistics and data analysis and certified training in negotiation and mediation of conflicts and in geographical information systems. His professional career includes participation in several evaluation studies of educational policies and social policies, as well as in scientific projects on the effects of the economic crisis in these same areas. His current academic interests focus on labour, social protection, trade union and social dialogue.
