Ana Alves da Silva has a degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and a Master's degree in Social Intervention, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra. She is currently finishing her PhD in Sociology - Work Relations, Social Inequalities and Trade Unionism at the Centre for Social Studies and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra, with research, co-financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology, on processes of precariousness in small-scale entrepreneurship.
