The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) has expanded the obligation for companies to report on their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, and the European Green Deal 2050 called for a historic process of green, multidimensional transition towards sustainable business models, whether in relation to stakeholders or in promoting diversity, equality and inclusion internally, among other good management practices. Investment opportunities and core management aspects are increasingly based on ESG performance. Faced with this challenging context, companies need to develop skills, science-based solutions and digital solutions that can contribute to better decision support, both in large companies and particularly in democratizing access to ESG reporting in SMEs. Prior to implementation, it is important to train managers and professionals in the context of their sectors, helping them to develop a conceptual map of ESG, as well as generating skills in an implementation framework and its tools.
