Diogo Silva da Cunha
Diogo Silva da Cunha has a degree in Journalism from the School of Social Communication of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon and a master's degree in History and Philosophy of Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. He has further training in Communication Sciences, Sociology of Knowledge, Philosophy of Technology, Science and Technology Studies (STS), Political Economy and Web Preservation. She is currently finishing her PhD in Philosophy of Science, specializing in Science and Society, at the University of Lisbon, with funding from the Foundation for Science and Technology (PD/BD/135240/2017 and COVID/BD/152011/2021).
He is a PhD student at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon and collaborates with the Center for Philosophy of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. In 2017, he took part in the project "The Press and the Digital Edition of Information", funded by the Media Regulatory Authority. In the same year, he received a grant from the Foundation for National Scientific Computation for research into digital preservation and the transformation of Portuguese newspapers' presence on the web. He was Assistant Professor José Luís Garcia in the subject of Sociology of Health in the Degree in Health Sciences at the University of Lisbon between 2017 and 2020. Diogo Silva da Cunha's research interests are mainly related to epistemology, social theory, foundations of social sciences, communication, theory of history, the articulation between economic and technological transformation, scientific policies, the universe of media and journalism, digital technologies, health care systems, and the contemporary mutation of work.
