Eugénia Pires

Eugénia Pires is a researcher at CoLABOR, the Collaborative Laboratory for Work, Employment and Social Protection.

An economist by training, he specialized in public debt, finance and development, with a master's degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London. His frame of reference is heterodox, with particular emphasis on Marxian and post-Keynesian theory.

His most recent research project deals with the impact of technological development on work and employment, in particular the direct implications of information and communication technologies on the organization of the work process and the formation of value chains.
