Franco Tomassoni holds a PhD in Globalization Studies from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - FCSH of the New University of Lisbon - UNL. Based on the encounter between geopolitics, history, social theory and macroeconomics, his research explores the relationship between technology, hegemonic transitions and global markets, with a particular focus on labor dynamics. He participates in various national and international research projects and is a member of the editorial committee of the publishing house Outro Modo - Le Monde Diplomatique - Portuguese Edition.
