Pedro Santos Rita is a lawyer with a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2006) and is currently preparing his final thesis for a Master's Degree in Philosophy of the State at the same Faculty. He started practicing law at Jardim, Sampaio, Magalhães e Silva & Associados, Lisbon, where he worked until 2010. For several years she has been providing legal advice to the SNTCT - National Union of Postal and Telecommunications Workers and since 2018 she has collaborated occasionally with the SJ - Union of Journalists. Also in the field of labor issues, she has organized debates and participated in publications in associative and informal circles. A member of the CoLABOR team since March 2021, she has been working on issues of job insecurity, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on employment legislation.
