Tânia Almeida
Tânia Rodrigues de Almeida has a degree in Law (FDUC), post-graduate degrees in Child Protection (FDUC) and Legal-Criminal Sciences (FDUL) and a master's degree in Public Law (FDUNL).
In addition to working as a legal advisor at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML), in the Legal Support Office of the Social Action and Health Department (2017-2019) and in the Adoption, Civil Sponsorship and Foster Care Unit (2016-2017), she worked in East Timor as a legal advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity, having been responsible for drafting national policies and legal diplomas in the area of social protection (2011-2016).
She was a legal consultant and a member of the Child and Youth Protection Commissions in the Lisbon district (2007-2011) and a lawyer in the area of Family Law (2004-2006).
She is an associate jurist at the Family Law Center of the FDUC (since 2005), having published a paper on the Educational Guardianship Law in the Portuguese Family Law Journal "Lex Familiae".
She has been a researcher at CoLABOR since January 2020, in the areas of Social Protection/Solidary Economy and DataLABOR.
