Tiago Teixeira

Tiago Teixeira (1995) has a bachelor's and master's degree in economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2017 and 2020). His master's thesis, which analyzes the increases in the minimum wage in Portugal between 2008 and 2017, in order to estimate their effects on employment levels, wages and company profits, earned him second place in the Silva Lopes Prize from Banco de Portugal (2020).

In his professional career, he has worked at the European Central Bank, where he developed and implemented the pilot phase of the Consumer Expectations Survey, and also at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development - OECD, where he was a junior consultant.
