CoLABOR participates in the Academy on Decent Work for Social Justice

CoLABOR was part of the program of the Academy on Decent Work for Social Justice, an event that took place between February 10 and 14 at the headquarters of the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) in Lisbon.

The initiative aimed to explore the interconnections between employment, social protection and vocational training policies in Portuguese-speaking countries, promoting more integrated and effective approaches to promoting decent work.

Researcher Frederico Cantante participated as a speaker at the Seminar on Labor Market Analysis and Social Protection Indicators for the Design and Evaluation of Policies to Promote Decent Work. During his speech, he presented the statistical and legal information platform DataLABOR, highlighting its contribution to the analysis and monitoring of labor market and social protection indicators.

The Academy on Decent Work for Social Justice brought together managers and technicians from ministries and public institutions, social partners, political decision-makers and representatives of non-governmental organizations, civil society and international cooperation from the member states of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).

Organized by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (CIF-ILO), this edition of the Academy is part of the ACTION/Portugal project, funded by the Strategy and Planning Office (GEP) of the Portuguese Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, and the training programme developed in partnership between the IEFP and the CIF-ILO.
