CoLABOR starts Managender project

CoLABOR is launching Managender, a new project funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), which aims to investigate "glass ceilings" - invisible barriers that hinder women's access to management positions.

Using quantitative and qualitative methodologies, the Managender aims to:
✔️ Analyze gender inequalities in progression to senior positions and the associated remuneration;
✔️ Identify the social, economic and institutional factors that underpin these barriers.

This phenomenon, which cuts across several European countries, not only limits the development of women's skills and talent, but also has negative impacts on well-being and the economy.

Expected to last a year, the results of the study will be presented at a final conference and compiled in a scientific publication, contributing to the advancement of research and the definition of policies to reduce inequality.
