November 4th: CoLABOR Days | Work on climate and digital transitions

On November 4th, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, CoLABOR, the Collaborative Laboratory for Work, Employment and Social Protection, promoted an international meeting entitled “Work in Climate and Digital Transitions”, with the aim of contributing to reflection and qualification of the debate public about the repercussions that these changes, accelerated by the pandemic crisis and the subsequent global economic and social crisis, bring to working conditions and employment, as well as to social protection and labor regulation.

The event featured two international keynote speakers, Pamela Meil, from the Institute for Social Science Research in Munich, and David Mosler, from the International Labour Organization, both with extensive experience in studying the impact of technology on work and employment, and brought together leaders, workers' representatives and renowned experts in their field who presented their perspectives on "Decent work in the climate and digital transitions" and "Social protection and regulation of work in a context of technological and organizational change".
