COLABOR took part in the kick-off of the FUTOURWORK project - Improving Tourism and Hospitality Worker Well-being Through Social Dialogue, which took place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, between January 28 and 30, 2025.
This project aims to strengthen social dialogue in the Tourism and Hospitality (T&H) sector, promoting decent work, equality and well-being. The main areas of intervention include responding to the challenges of digitalization, improving working conditions and supporting trade union strategies.
One of the project's main expected results is the creation of an Observatory whose mission will be to:
- Support workers in knowing their rights;
- Strengthen the sector's regulatory instruments;
- Draw up a benchmark of well-being and good practices;
- Contribute to improving employment conditions in the sector.
FUTOURWORK is funded by the Horizon Europe program and brings together an international consortium that includes, in addition to CoLABOR, Lusófona University (Portugal) and research institutions from Sweden, Bulgaria, Romania, the United Kingdom and Greece.
