Summary
The Choices Program, under the supervision of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and part of the High Commission for Migration, I.P. (ACM, I.P.). (ACM, I. P.), was created in 2001 and has been in existence for eight generations. It is reported to be a national and international reference model for public policies aimed at promoting the rights of children and young people from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds.

The 8th Generation of the Choices Program was approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers no. 71/2020 of September 15, with regulations approved by the Board of Directors of the High Commission for Migration and subsequently approved by the Secretary of State for Integration and Migration, by order of December 10, 2020. Like previous generations, the Program's mission is to promote social integration, equal opportunities in education and employment, the fight against social discrimination, civic participation and the strengthening of social cohesion.

CoLABOR was responsible for the external evaluation of the eighth generation of the Choices Program, contracted by ACM, I. P., and the results of the evaluation were presented to the government. To this end, a multidisciplinary team sought to mobilize a set of methods that sought to respond to the proposed objectives, with the aim of contributing to greater knowledge about the Programme and to its improvement in future generations.
